It’s that time again!

Hello everybody, it’s my favorite time of the year; harvest! Its seems a little soon considering we never really had a Spring or Summer but the grapes don’t stop because of COVID. I guess they didn’t get the memo? We brought in our first fruit early on Friday. This was Pinot Noir, which we make for the Drink Washington State label. I have a couple tricks up my sleeves for this wine this year. Don’t be surprised if you see a Pinot petnat from us.

I am super excited about this harvest as I get to work with a fellow classmate who I graduated with. Hannah has worked harvests all over the world and brings a different point of view to Eternal. She was most recently the assistant winemaker at Gramercy here in town.  I am excited to see what comes from this vintage.

We continue to kill it, the Walla Walla Wine Competition was this last week and our 2019 Eternal Lust Albarino won best white wine in the competition!  Also our 2016 Eternal Echo Syrah won best Syrah in Walla Walla! Our 2016 Eternal Discovery Cabernet Sauvignon and Eternal Optimism GSM both won gold medals. This is the best showing yet and we even tied the famed Woodward Canyon for most gold medals or better in the competition.

We are suspending our monthly webinar series until after harvest. It’s hard enough to find time to eat during harvest so this was an easy decision.

We will be sending out our Fall release for our Good Vibes wine club on Sept 16th. I can’t wait to share these new wines with you all!

We are now open to the public Thurs-Sun 11-5pm. We are still open Mon-Weds but it is now appointment only. You can make one either on our webpage or calling us directly, 509-240-6258. We also continue to offer beer and cider by the bottle.

Picasso and Chloe both made the first run to pick up our Pinot out in Mattwata. They are in harvest shape already, I need another week or two for that same feat.

My Carmenere documentary “Through the grapevine” Link here.  We just sold out of our Drink Washington State Carmenere.
