Spring is almost here!

We have been busy bottling in the winery and have been making the most of our off- again/on-again weather in the month. I had an exceptionally long day when our garage door broke while it was going down leaving the winery wide open during the 20-degree winds. I looked at Nick(employee) and said, “Well I guess this is what I am doing tonight.” To make things worse it happened as we were locking up to go home for the night at 4pm. I left the winery at 12:30am, but the problem was remedied. My dogs were not happy.

Our wine club members will receive an email stating that they can log into their accounts and edit their Spring shipments in the next week, so keep an eye out. This is truly an historic wine club release as we are releasing a wine that, as far as I know, has never been made anywhere in the world before. I’ll let those words sink in. I truly believe that being a winemaker is what I was born to do. It would be easy to go to a big winery with millions of dollars and put all my wines in new oak, have optical sorters and play with all the bells and whistles. However, that just doesn’t have the soul. My wines are my kids, and each is special in a unique way (I feel parents can relate).

Our celebration of the 40th anniversary of Walla Walla becoming an AVA was a successful event. Diego played after, and we were completely sold out for the event.

Our Eternal Darkness Valentine’s Day dance party was a blast. DJ Phaz3r and DJ R3 rocked the decks until midnight, and we gave away magnums of Eternal Darkness for the Darkest and Sexiest dressed.

I will be pouring for Walla Walla Wine on tour in Boise, ID on March 3rd & 4th. This is the 2ndtime we have poured in Boise as a group. The first event went so well that we had to open up 2 dates this year. This event has already sold out! We are distributed in Boise so if you have any restaurant or wine shop connections ask them to carry Eternal if they do not already. Our distributor is Wine Cellars NW.

This month I will also be in Seattle, WA for Taste Washington. This is always an extremely fun event for wineries and customers. I also really enjoy all the small bites from the local restaurants. Come say hello and ask for our special under the table wines! (If you know then you know)

We have decided to move our concert and food truck series (Beats & Bites) back to Thursday nights. I have started booking for this series and have some dates below. We have returning local favorites Diego Romero and Gary Winsten and the Real Deal, as well as my favorite Spokane band, Snacks at Midnight. We are also bringing back Tri-cities own Bourbon & Bellows as they just released a new CD and a great listen it is. Back from Portland, OR we welcome Sweet N’ Juicy. These guys are always a blast. Also, back for a 3rd straight year is Wasteland Kings from La Grande, OR. Put these dates on your calendar today! One of our last shows of the year is featuring both Diego Romero and Gary Winston and will be a Prince tribute set. If you attended 2 years ago you know how fun this was.

We are also starting to fill up our calendar with out-of-town tastings, specifically on the west side of Washington. These events are usually poured by the Dude, AKA Dominic, and are a lot of fun. We have added events in Bellingham, Bellevue, and Mill Creek to name a few. See the complete list below.

Join us for our annual Pride Festival on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. Last year we hosted over 700 guests all day, this year we are going for 1,000! Help us make our goal and spread the word. Full details to come, but this event will go until 2am like last year! Bring your dancing shoes. Pre-sale tickets for the 21+ DJ party are only $10 and available at our webpage here.

Did you know that we can host private events for you or your business? We have the capacity to host up to 500 people and can add catering to your experience. Also, we host many large groups of 10-40 people for tastings. These tastings run on average 1.5 hours. Please contact me for more information. Our outside patio is a great spot for afterwork get-togethers.

Winter hours are in effect. Open Thursday-Saturday 11-4pm, Sun-Wed by appointment only. If you would like to visit us, just submit a tasting request here and I will make sure we are ready for your group!

Interested in joining our wine club? Free to join and free shipping! We have 3 different tiers. The Sir McCartney is just Eternal Wine selections, the Hexum is a mixture of both labels, and the Petty is just our Drink Washington State label. You can join for free, and it’s just 2 shipments a year:  your choice of 6 or 12 bottles. For more information check us out here.
