What a jam-packed month!

Not only were we rocking at the winery all month long, but we had 8 days of out-of-town pouring’s. The heat is certainly on and when I was in Seattle it was 93 degrees. Seattle is meant for 93-degree days! We hit 110 in Walla Walla and just had a scary incident. We had a fire that started on a columbine and spread to 1100 acres by the time fire-fighters and other local residents took up the fight.  The views from the winery were scary and you could see the fire from the airport!

You want more awards?  We got them from Bellingham Wine Awards.  Our  Drink Washington State Carmenere won Double Gold, and rated 94 points! Next up we won Platinum from Great Northwest Wine Platinum Awards for our 2016 Eternal Echo Syrah, notching 96 points.

Even though it was 106° outside, we still had over 80 people show up for Diego Romero and our customer appreciation party. We are starting our shows now at 6pm, with music from 6:30-8:30pm. Food truck on site from 6-8:30. We made a VIP pool area, added a couple misters, and bought more umbrellas. We also gave away a bottle of I Heart Radio wine that we make. Even with the heat it didn’t feel that bad. We finish our 20-week Thursday Night Lights series with a bang!  First, it’s Carriage House Orchestra on the 4th, followed by Diego Romero and Gary Winston Play Prince on August 11.

Trust me, this is a MUST SEE!  Looking forward to the 18th when we welcome Musty, Marc & Brix and we finish the year out with Sweet N Juicy on the 25th! If you missed them in April, you will not want to miss them again.

Picasso’s 15th birthday bash was fun.  He didn’t like the loud music, so we hung out in the front much of the night. Unfortunately, Naughty Pine had to cancel last minute for that show, but we were able to bring Off.Brand from Portland to Walla Walla for the show. We had a similar experience with one of the members of Dee-Em not being available last minute. That show turned into a solo show since Dee-Em only has 2 members.

We have started getting ready for harvest and all our pre-harvest orders have been filled. Our shows end August 25th and then we have a couple weeks of bottling before harvest 2022 begins. We are targeted to bring in about 30 tons this year which is a fairly normal harvest for us lately.

We received some scores last month from Antonio Galloni Vinous on our latest Spring Release. No shocker to us they loved our Drink Washington State Carmenere and 2018 Eternal Quest Syrah rating both 92 points. Our 2019 Eternal Evolution Skin Contact White and Eternal Beauty Rosé both rated 91 points. 2020 Eternal Lust Albarino and Eternal Patience Roussanne both rated 90 points and the Drink Washington State Riesling was awarded 89. We are sold out of our Eternal Lust Albarino and Eternal Insight Marsanne. Our Riesling will be added to that list very soon.

We are now also sold out of our 2021 Eternal Beauty Rosé. We decided to push up the release for the 2021 Eternal Lust Albarino to fill a gap in our white wine side. Our whites are flying off the shelves this year and it looks like we need to make more in 2022!

We are open daily 11-5 for walk-in tastings. We would love to see you, and scheduling a tasting is quick and easy! To book a tasting reservation click on this link. (This insures we have a table for your group) https://eternalwine.com/wine-tasting/

Speaking about tastings at the winery:  we offer 3 different set tastings daily.  These tastings are $15 and waived with a $30 purchase. Tastings are always free to our wine club members and up to 5 guests. Even more, we allow you to select the 5 wines you would like to try with our “Make Your Own Tasting”!  This tasting is $20 and waived with a 2-bottle purchase.

Interested in joining our wine club? Free Shipping! We have 3 different tiers. The Sir McCartney is just Eternal Wine selections, the Hexum is a mixture of both labels, and the Petty is just our Drink Washington State label.  You can join for free, and it’s just 2 shipments a year:  your choice of 6 or 12 bottles.
