The Wahluke Slope is a winemakers favorite

Great Northwest Wine recently published a story highlighting the Wahluke Slope and why more and more winemakers are making wine from the AVA.  Our 2014 Drink Washington State Groovin On’ Wahluke Slope Cabernet Sauvignon is featured in this article.

Because of its warm temperatures, it is well known for growing red wine grapes, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec and Merlot…..

Drink Washington State Winery NV Sparkling Riesling, Yakima Valley, $19

Certified sommelier Brad Binko grew up in upstate New York and lorded over wine lists in Charleston, S.C., before moving cross-country to make wine in Washington state.

This earned best sparkling wine at the 2016 Walla Walla Valley Wine Competition, a scholarship fundraiser for what is now Binko’s alma mater.
