February is for bottling!

We are in full blown bottling mode at the winery. The problem is we are still waiting on glass we ordered in early September. So, we are using what we have left and exploring different options for bottling. Supply chains drying up is a common problem for businesses and it is certainly hitting the wineries. What you can find will cost you somewhere around 200% more than it was this time last year. Inflation is certainly here.

Man, I am happy to finally see that snow melt. What a logistical nightmare! Things just slowed to a stop and unfortunately, as you know, we had to cancel our concert last month due to the weather. Thursday Night Lights will kick off April 7th and run through August 17th. We are looking forward to building on the momentum we received last year.

We are running extremely low on our Drink Washington State Carmenere,  2017 vintage (2 cases). The 2019 will be released in the Spring. Yes, the 2019.  We didn’t make a Carmenere in 2018 as I focused more on my Eternal label that harvest.

Our 2016 Eternal Echo received 96 points and a Platinum medal from Great Northwest Wine. “Velvety, fine tannins don’t distract from the subtle minerality, and the late injection of boysenberry extends the lengthy finish”.  We still have some of this wine available if you would like to get your hands on a bottle.

Walla Walla wine pouring in Seattle was postponed, and the new date is March 14th.  Driving over the pass this time of the year is never a given!

I will be in Boise, ID February 10-12th to do a couple ride-a-long pourings with my distributor. I know for sure I will be at the Co-op Friday from 4-6pm and Saturday from 1-3pm. Stop by and taste some new wines and some old favorites!

The tasting room will be open every day starting this month, except for Wednesdays which will be by appointment only. We would love to see you, so please schedule a tasting! To book a tasting reservation click on this link. https://eternalwine.com/wine-tasting/

Our Spring Release, which will be released early April, is filling out nicely. We are planning on our 2021 Eternal Beauty Rosé, 2018 Eternal Patience Roussanne, 2020 Eternal Lust Albarino, 2019 Eternal Evolution (Skin contact white), 2018 Eternal Quest Syrah and our 2019 Drink Washington State Carmenere.

Interested in joining our wine club? Free Shipping! We have 3 different tiers. The Sir McCartney is just Eternal Wine selections, the Hexum is a mixture of both labels, and the Petty is just our Drink Washington State label.  You can join for free, and it’s just 2 shipments a year:  your choice of 6 or 12 bottles. For more information check us out here.
