It’s March and we still have snow and cold?
Fresh off a great tasting in Seattle at Macaw Hall, I am looking forward to another great event in Portland. The Walla Walla Wine Alliance throws 2 events a year one in Seattle and one in Portland. This will be the first time that we pour in Portland. The event is March 11th.
I am speaking about Native Fermentation at the Clore Center in Prosser on March 7th. We will be tasting our 2016 Eternal Patience Roussanne and 2016 Eternal Foundation Syrah. This is going to be fun and educational. OMG!
Guitarfest is coming up and we are jam packed with great acts. Not 1 but 2 free shows a day! Check out the bottom of this newsletter for our upcoming shows. As a musician I love this time of the year and recently had a pretty good jam session for the first time since I hurt my finger. The C chord is hard and I need to play the F slightly differently but it’s actually good therapy for my finger and I was able to let some chords rip.
I will be pouring at Taste Washington on March 30-31stin Seattle. This marks my fourth year pouring at this event. I always enjoy this event as it’s great to see all my colleagues and friends at one spot. It’s also great to taste all the new releases.
You will continue to find me in the tasting room at The INK. If there are no customers it gives me time to run labs, do barrel work, or prep wines for bottling. Swing by and taste the new wines with me. We still serve bottle beers at The INK too, so you have no excuses not to visit! The Sam Smith oatmeal stout pairs perfect with the cold.
We are looking forward to Reveal Walla Walla in April, as we will be auctioning off a custom blend of Les Collines and Dwelley Vineyard Syrah. This is unique as we normally do not blend our Eternal Wines, as we like to showcase single vineyards. This will be a great lot and all proceeds go to a great cause!
Our Spring Release is coming up in April and we are excited to share our lighter 2018s along with some amazing Syrahs from 2016. Not a Good Vibes wine club member? This is the only way to receive our limited runs from Bogin Vineyard. Not to mention discounts on wine, beer and swag.
Our downtown tasting room is open 5 days a week: Wed. & Sun. 12-5 pm and Thurs.-Sat. 12-8 pm.
Our airport location is open Friday-Sunday 12-5 pm.
*We are open later for special events.
Free live music is from 5:30-7:30 pm. Locals taste our Drink Washington State wines for free.
