Let’s do this, July!

Every time I write this newsletter I think, “Wow!  Has it been a month already?”  Time seems to speed up; every month going quicker than the one before.  Yet, when I look back at things that happened a month ago, I think, “Wow!  That was only a month ago?”  Seems longer every time.  But, anyways, this is a newsletter about wine not Philosophy.

We are starting happy hour downtown from 3:30-5:30 which means $1 off all glass pours and 10% off bottles opened in the tasting room, plus $3 glasses of rosé!  Our downtown location is open 4 days a week:  Sundays 12-6pm, Thursdays-Saturdays 12-8pm.  The INK:  Fridays-Sundays 11-5pm.*

I’m in Spokane a lot this month which is always fun.  Come down and say hello at one of our events in town. Looking forward to talking about Carmenere and showing off our new Drink Washington State white blend which is perfect for summer: 1/3 each of Muscat, Pinot Griegio and Riesling and it’s off dry in style.  This wine will not be around for long at only $19 a bottle!

Apparently our 1983 tasting was only a month ago…I don’t trust this time thing!  Man, what a blast it was, and amazing to have all 13 bottles still drinkable, with a couple that were just amazing!  We will definitely do something like this again.

Wrapping up the last month: Our comedy night, June 8th, with Todd Kirkwood was a funny night.  I really enjoyed all 3 of our comedians: Greg, Todd, and Is.  As far as wines go, we are sold out of our 2017 Eternal Sunshine Viognier.  Our Viognier always sells out in less than a month, and I say thank you to you guys for making this happen!  On a more personal note, Picasso turned 12 last month and I think how lucky I am to have such a loyal and utterly amazing best bud.

*Free live music is from 5:30-7:30 pm.  Locals taste our Drink Washington State wines for free.
