Happy Holidays from the otherside,

Of course by this I mean the otherside of the border. I am currently writing this in my new office in our new winery and tasting room in Milton-Freewater, OR. Our new location, while in a new state, is not very far at all as it takes me around 15-18 minutes to drive there from the old spot. We have been 100% in the building for about 3 weeks now. I was literally moving barrels on November 30th so we would have everything out from our Walla Walla incubator location.

The transition is going really well, but there is so much work to still do. I have been focusing on organizing. As I said before this move has stages. Stage 1: move everything over, Stage 2: organize everything, Stage 3: clean everything. We are partway through stage 2 currently. I don’t have any firm opening dates yet, but we are aiming for late January, early February.

I cannot wait to show off the spot as this place is going to be perfect for Eternal. Soon you will be able to taste amazing single vineyard wines, enjoy great handcrafted food, watch all the games, enjoy live music and even host your own events (office parties, birthday parties, divorce parties). We will have a food truck on site daily for lunch or dinner options, and we will be open later (10am-8pm daily).  You will be able to come in for a tasting with friends or sit at our 10 seat tasting bar. We will be showing all the sporting games on our 6 big screen TVs. Being in Oregon, betting on live sports is legal. Sounds like you need some Eternal Insight followed by Eternal Bliss when your bet wins.

Last week we received some huge news on our 2023 Eternal Lust Albariño from Otis vineyard. Sip Magazine announced the top medalists for the 13th Annual Best of the Northwest Wine Competition. More than 600 bottles were carefully evaluated from wineries throughout the Pacific Northwest. Judging took place November 12th & 13th, 2024 in Seattle, WA.

An open call for submissions was put out to wine producers  of all sizes across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. All wines were blind tasted and meticulously evaluated by a distinguished panel of the Northwest’s top wine professionals, including sommeliers, wine buyers, producers, distributors, wine writers and industry professionals.

Only the top four in each category were awarded Platinum, Double Gold, Gold or Silver medals. Larger categories also included Judges’ Picks, recognizing the next highest-ranking wines after the medalists.

“We always say we’re not the little league of wine competitions. We don’t just give out participation medals, we’re looking for the BEST in the Northwest,” says Kristin Ackerman, Publisher/CEO of Sip Magazine. “This is an incredible opportunity for the smaller, less well known wineries to get their wines in front of, and evaluated by, professionals in their industry with influence. Moreover, it is an incredible opportunity to get  in front of Sip’s loyal readers and followers who will seek out these award-winning wines.”

Our 2023 Eternal Lust Albariño won best Albarino in the Pacific Northwest!  Wine club members could have received this wine in the Fall shipment depending on your club level. Also depends on if you edited your order in the 2 week window as we allow edits before charging and finalizing your order.

Interested in joining our wine club? Free to join and free shipping! We have 3 different tiers. The Sir McCartney is just Eternal Wine selections, the Hexum is a mixture of both labels, and the Petty is just our Drink Washington State label. You can join for free, and it’s just 2 shipments a year:  your choice of 6 or 12 bottles. For more information check us out here.
