Hello 2023,
I am really looking forward to this year, personally and professionally. It is weird to say this but I will be turning 40 this year. To celebrate, I will be visiting Portugal, France, Spain and Italy. I am looking forward to sharing this expierence with some close friends. We will be visiting some of the most famous wine regions in the wine world and tasting their wines. I will be sure to add updates on our eternalwines socials as well as my own. As a winemaker you must always look to the future, but know and respect the past. I hope to gain valuable insights that will help future vintages of my wines.
We are starting a new promotion for 2023: a 3 pack of the month. This month we are featuring our 2016 Eternal Heritage Syrah. This wine is from the oldest plantings of Syrah in the Walla Walla Valley: Morrison Lane Vineyard. We co-fermeneted 5% Viognier from the same vineyard with the Syrah. This wine is singing right now! Also during the month of January we will be opening 1 library wine included in all tastings and available for purchase. We are starting with our 2016 Eternal Bliss Fortified Syrah. This port style wine is perfect for dessert and aged nicely. Taste this in contrast with our 2019 which is the current vintage.
We will be busy bottling the next couple months at the winery as we get some big reds and new 2022 whites and rosés in the bottle. It’s nice to see your work that you just finished in the bottle already. Hard work pays off! Spring release 2023 will be here before we know it.
We are now going into our winter hours. We are open Fri-Sat 11-4pm for walk-in tastings. We are open Sun-Thurs by appointment only.
